Loan Processor – Originations
Fay Servicing, LLC We are seeking a detail‑oriented Loan Processor to manage the timely and accurate processing of non‑QM and investor loans from application through pre‑closing. The candidate will verify borrower and property documentation, order appraisals, complete title work, verify income and employment, and perform fraud reviews and compliance checks. Responsibilities
Manage the collection, verification, and organization of all necessary borrower and property documentation. Order appraisals, complete title work, and verify borrower income and employment. Ensure valid homeowners insurance and conduct fraud reviews and compliance checks. Enter and verify loan data within the Loan Origination System (LOS) and confirm compliance with internal, investor, and regulatory guidelines. Act as the primary point of contact for borrowers and third‑party vendors throughout the loan process. Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required. 3+ years of experience in loan processing within the residential mortgage industry. 1+ year in a high‑volume processing environment with a demonstrated ability to fund 25+ loans per month. Strong knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and VA loan products and guidelines. In‑depth understanding of RESPA, TIL, and TRID regulations and disclosure requirements (GFE, LE, CD). Familiarity with Automated Underwriting Systems (AUS) such as Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Prospector (LP). Proficiency with Encompass (LOS) and solid skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to review and interpret personal and business tax returns. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and decision‑making skills with excellent time‑management and prioritization abilities. Client‑focused with strong execution skills, results orientation, and a high level of precision and attention to detail. Flexible, open to change, and quick to learn new processes. Ability to work collaboratively and provide guidance to working groups. Benefits
