Two Tenure-Track Faculty Positions in Computer Science
The CUNY Hunter College Computer Science Department invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor rank, to begin in August of 2026. The Department is primarily seeking applicants with an independent research record in an area of cyber security or software engineering.
While the department is primarily seeking applicants in an area of cyber security or SE, research expertise in all areas of computer science will be considered. Similarly, although applications at the Assistant Professor rank are strongly encouraged, applications seeking appointment at a rank above Assistant Professor will be considered.
Priority will be given to cyber security or SE applicants with a successful track record within systems (HPC, parallel computation, etc.), computer networks, network security, software security, secure operating systems, quantum computing, and secure software engineering.
