Summary This recruitment will be used to fill twenty (20) part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) TOUR Ambassadors for the Office of Admissions at Oregon State University (OSU). The Office of Admissions employs qualified, currently enrolled undergraduate students as paid TOUR Ambassadors, who serve as the first point of contact for prospective students and families while representing Oregon State University through a variety of recruitment events and visit programs. The Welcome Center welcomes nearly 34,000 visitors to campus each year, and TOUR Ambassadors are a key component of this work. Through all of their job duties, ambassadors share information about Oregon State, its academic colleges and student support services, and they also share their personal positive experiences at OSU to help prospective students make admissions decisions. All visit programs are conducted in person and virtually, with possible additional opportunities to attend off-campus recruitment events and multicultural-focused recruitment events as interested. Student employees typically work 4–10+ hours per week on a flexible schedule that supports academic priorities, while receiving ample and ongoing paid training to ensure success in the role.
