Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of clinic experience and active state licensure for a day shift outpatient assignment.
Responsibilities Outpatient physical therapy department setting Day shift schedule, 4 days per week, 9 hours per day Assignment is 12 weeks in duration Duties include patient assessment, developing treatment goals, delivering therapy, and providing education related to independent living and upper extremity function Responsible for functional cognitive retraining, assistive equipment recommendations, and splinting/positioning mechanics Regularly reassesses patient progress and modifies treatment plans as appropriate Supervises and delegates responsibilities to students, assistants, and technicians within the scope of authority
Requirements Current, valid Occupational Therapist state license required if applicable Minimum of 1 year relevant clinical experience required Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school is required Active BLS certification (AHA) required Experience with Epic charting system
