Regional Sales Manager

This Position reports to: Regional Business Blending Line Manager In this role, you will have the opportunity to bring new business opportunities and improve the existing ones by supporting the Sales organization with relevant knowledge of products and markets. Each day, you will support the defined Sales organization and customers throughout the sales process in your assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in sales strategy discussions for the assigned area, agreements on short-term and long-term goals, and negotiation of the division sales budget. The work model for the role is: hybrid. This role is contributing to the Process Automation, Energy Industries Division.
Responsibilities
Creating the division sales plans for the area, in coordination with the Sales organization and teams.
Analyzing the customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and the information provided by the Sales organization.
Ensuring efficient marketing actions (e.g., product launches) and communications to the Sales organization and customers, communicating the value proposition of the products, systems, services, and packages provided by the company.
Supporting the Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions, as well as in the preparation of competitive/strategic offers.
Qualifications For The Role
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution is preferred, but not required
Minimum 5 years of experience covering North America in MES, and the Blending and Formulation market.
More than 3 years of experience in direct sales and sales management.
Experience in managing sales pursuit with Direct End-user and EPCs
Experience in business development, account management and cross-selling across systems, solutions, products, and service categories.
Strong understanding of Blending and Formulation. Experience of engagement with Paint, Resins and Specialty Chemicals customers. Additionally, Pulp & Paper experience will be an added value.
Experience in Blending Solutions (Powder Handling Systems, Pigging Lines, Mixers, Modular Skids, Engineered Packages including Mechanical, Electrical, Instruments and Automation Systems) is preferred
