Position description and responsibilities below describe the role within the UPLIZNA marketing team and the IgG4-RD disease state, including leading a team of Thought Leader Liaisons (TLLs) and developing KOL partnerships in a specified geography. What You Will Do

The National IgG4-RD Team Lead of Thought Leader Liaisons will lead a team of product and company knowledge experts in developing business strategies that build on Amgen’s reputation and credibility in the marketplace. The TLL Team Lead is a player-coach role, managing a TLL Team while building strategic Key Opinion Leader (KOL) partnerships. TLLs act as disease state and product experts and are responsible for expanding and building relationships with KOLs. This role is critical in building advocacy among the thought leader community and fostering internal collaboration on KOL Engagement. This position is scoped to execute the future IgG4-RD launch. The TLL Team Lead is a member of the UPLIZNA marketing team and will have 5 TLL direct reports, reporting to the Head of TLLs, UPLIZNA. Responsibilities Articulate and communicate a strategic vision for the TLL team that ensures a culture of performance and accountability. Create and maintain strong working relationships with the medical community. Cultivate Key Opinion Leaders and product advocates in Academic and Community settings nationwide and in assigned geography. Work cross-functionally with medical, sales, and global teams to ensure clear exchange of information and alignment on objectives. Oversee the creation of commercial KOL Engagement Plans, including plans for the leads’ assigned KOLs; ensure execution of plans integrated with sales, marketing, and leadership. Maintain up-to-date product and disease state knowledge, market dynamics, and reimbursement knowledge to inform strategic business plans that drive KOL product adoption and leadership connectivity. Lead and motivate the TLL team by defining objectives, allocating resources, and monitoring activities. Identify and hire top talent and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to develop team capabilities. Provide ongoing training on product/disease state knowledge, large account management, business planning/analysis, presentation skills, and use of marketing tools. Identify and address issues affecting TLL performance and implement coaching or corrective actions as needed. Assess human resources needs and develop succession planning for each role. Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing congress meetings. Ensure effective and compliant management of speaker bureau activities and program implementation. Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree and 2 years of marketing, sales, relevant clinical or medical experience OR Masters degree and 4 years of marketing, sales, relevant clinical or medical experience OR Bachelors degree and 6 years of marketing, sales, relevant clinical or medical experience OR Associates degree and 10 years of marketing, sales, relevant clinical or medical experience OR High school diploma / GED and 12 years of marketing, sales, relevant clinical or medical experience Preferred Qualifications

7+ years of field sales, product marketing, or medical/clinical experience in pharma/healthcare Experience in rheumatology space strongly preferred TLL experience strongly preferred Outstanding communication skills with ability to present to small and large groups Strong teamwork and ability to influence without authority Experience in institutional sales and/or large account selling is a plus Strong interpersonal relationships and ability to collaborate across functions Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Strong business acumen with analytical skills and ability to interpret sales/market data Strategic thinker with ability to innovate Flexibility in leading through change and delivering on business imperatives Results-driven with integrity and work ethic; fosters mutual trust and respect Ability to develop and motivate a high-performing team Travel Requirements
