Schedule:
Full-Time, Open Availability – FLEX Officers provide coverage for vacations, call‑outs, and open shifts across multiple posts. Must be available for all shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd), including weekends and holidays as needed.
Pay Rate:
$22–$23 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Provide flexible coverage across four client facilities, maintaining familiarity with each site’s layout, post orders, and expectations. Cover various shifts and assignments while ensuring consistent quality and professionalism.
Patrol and monitor facilities to ensure safety of employees, visitors, and property. Monitor security cameras and alarms for suspicious activity. Some posts may involve gate duties or vehicle patrols.
Manage and monitor access points to ensure only authorized personnel enter the building. Check identification badges and maintain accurate visitor logs.
Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms. Assist in resolving security‑related issues and report findings to management.
Maintain accurate and detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations. Prepare and submit reports as required.
Follow all emergency procedures for evacuations, medical emergencies, and other critical situations. Work closely with local authorities when necessary.
Ensure compliance with all security‑related policies, procedures, and regulations. Conduct regular security checks to identify potential risks or hazards.
Work closely with other departments, site staff, and fellow security officers to ensure a coordinated approach to safety and security across both sites.
Qualifications
Prior security or law‑enforcement experience preferred but not required.
Strong communication, problem‑solving, and observational skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
Security guard certifications or related training is a plus.
Clean driving record required.
Physical requirements: ability to stand for extended periods, patrol the facility, and respond to emergencies.
