Outside Sales Representative – Climate Control Commercial Base pay range: $40,000.00/yr - $62,965.00/yr. Total compensation package includes base pay, company vehicle, and robust commission plan. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including location and experience. Job Description

Outside Sales Representative for Sunbelt Rentals Climate Control Service, responsible for renting and selling portable air conditioners, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers and temporary heaters within an assigned territory. Customer base includes commercial customers, contractors and event companies. Work with the General Tool Division and other Specialty Divisions to provide turn-key solutions and maximize penetration within new and existing customer bases. Collaborate with Sales Reps and Managers across the organization. Responsibilities

Embrace and promote Sunbelt’s safety culture Develop and execute territory sales plans to grow the business by expanding the existing customer base and developing new customers within the assigned territory and markets segment Solicit business by calling on regular and prospective customers via phone or by traveling throughout the territory for planned visits or cold calls Provide technical sales and application solutions for customers Prepare detailed proposals to solicit orders, close deals and win business Coordinate project specs with internal operational personnel to meet customer timelines and requirements Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities within the territory Maintain CRM database daily with sales calls and job site details Keep pipeline reports accurate with updates on opportunities, wins and losses Develop and achieve an Annual Territory Sales Plan with KPI and market growth targets Learn all technical aspects of equipment, function and applications Provide technical training to customers on use, operation and maintenance of equipment Role will be measured by annual territory revenue and market growth targets Maintain current/valid driver’s license and auto insurance Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in equipment rental or HVAC with 2+ years of direct sales experience Proven sales track record in solution-selling Strong technical background, detail-oriented, with ability to learn engineering concepts Self-starter with excellent communication, motivation, and results-driven approach Problem-solving ability and the capacity to think outside the box Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and clients Ability to work effectively toward sales objectives with minimal day-to-day direction Strong project management, new business development and customer retention skills High-volume sales experience preferred Must have a physical capability to perform duties (bending, squatting, lifting 25+ pounds) as required Benefits & Perks
