About The Position Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Profession: Technologist Specialty: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Duration: Permanent Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 8.5 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: Required State Licenses Certifications: ARRT Certification Must-Have: - Valid driver's license in good standing - Vaccination against COVID-19 or exemption documentation Description: Serves over 7,500 care facilities nationwide. Great working environment and developmental training! Feel accomplished at the end of the day. There are great opportunities to promote yourself within and fine-tune your skills. Enjoy helpful coworkers and autonomy in your daily work. Experience a variety of patients and always be on the move. Job security and a great team to work with that supports you are offered. ROLE: Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG (if applicable). May go into various care facilities including skilled nursing facilities and home health. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital or computed radiography equipment. Submit and transmit images to a Radiologist for interpretation. Unload portable X-Ray equipment and take it into facilities to perform exams ordered by physicians. Obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-ray images. Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation. Scan exam-related paperwork and documents according to protocol. Regularly communicate with dispatch and management. Interact professionally with peers and supervisory staff. Maintain the vehicle and X-ray equipment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Radiologic Technologists may push or pull weights ranging from 50 to 100 lbs. Weight can increase when pushing or pulling the equipment in facilities or homes. 50 lbs of force (or more) can occur multiple times a day. Learn more about a day in the life in this position below!
