This role is crucial for the success of our retail stores. As a Retail Store Associate, you will work closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs and provide solutions using Sherwin-Williams products. You will play a key role in resolving customer concerns, ensuring maximum satisfaction, and maintaining the high visual and quality standards of our products and store environment. Achieving excellent customer service while meeting sales goals is a primary responsibility. You will be expected to work at Store #708054, located at: 745 West Appleway, Coeur D'Alene, ID and Store #701738, located at: 355 W. Prairie Shopping Ctr. Hayden, ID. This is a PART-TIME position with a starting pay of $16.91 per hour. As a Retail Store Associate, you will engage directly with customers, including minors, and handle various payment methods, store merchandise, and other valuable items. Key Responsibilities: Deliver excellent customer service to ensure high satisfaction. Assist customers in-person and over the phone. Build trusting relationships with customers. Process sales transactions accurately and in compliance with policies. Achieve sales goals on a monthly and yearly basis. Maintain accurate work orders and formulas. Prepare and mix products according to customer specifications. Stock shelves and set up attractive displays. Maintain store equipment cleanliness. Assist with deliveries and loading/unloading trucks as needed. Ensure cleanliness and organization of assigned areas. Stay informed about product offerings and discuss options with customers. Adhere to inventory control processes. Propose improvements to boost sales. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship. Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without accommodation. Availability to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends. Internal candidates must meet specific performance criteria. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. One (1) year of experience in retail or customer service. Experience selling paint and related products. Familiarity with operating tinting and mixing equipment. Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a plus, especially Spanish.
