Digital Content Strategist Job Summary:

Join the Public Relations Center of Excellence unit within the Corporate Marketing & Communications Department at Public Consulting Group (PCG). This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the execution of innovative communications, public relations, and content initiatives critical to our mission. The Digital Content Strategist is key to achieving the company's strategic goals by: Developing and implementing an engaging social media strategy to elevate brand awareness, enhance marketing efforts, and establish social thought leadership.

Executing comprehensive content development, deployment, and performance measurement functions to bolster a cohesive digital and social media content strategy.

Duties & Responsibilities: Design and implement multi-channel social media strategies and campaigns that emphasize brand storytelling related to products, initiatives, public relations, and company mission.

Create, edit, and publish dynamic integrated digital and social media content aligned with business objectives and user needs.

Manage corporate social media accounts, maintain a social media calendar, and cultivate the company’s online communities to optimize reach and engagement.

Incorporate best practices and adaptive solutions for integrated digital and social media content while responding to evolving technologies and trends.

Monitor and analyze platform performance, sharing insights to refine the company’s online presence.

Collaborate with Marketing & Communications teams to develop content that resonates with stakeholders and aligns with overall goals.

Support initiatives to enhance PCG's visibility as a leading consulting firm, promoting brand, products, and thought leadership.

Assist in crisis communications, media relations, and executive communications when necessary.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience: A minimum of 3 years in integrated marketing communications with a focus on content strategy and development.

At least 1-2 years in a professional social media role.

Outstanding writing, editing, and content planning capabilities.

Proficient in utilizing social media platforms for brand enhancement and data analytics.

A comprehensive understanding of translating brand strategies into effective channel-specific content.

Strong collaboration skills to execute projects with various stakeholders.

Experience in writing and editing web and blog content.

Ability to independently develop strategies and understand desired outcomes.

Emotional intelligence and maturity in professional interactions.

Research skills to identify relevant topics and generate compelling content.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Skills and Experience: Expertise in strategic communications and content planning.

Familiarity with Meltwater and WordPress.

Experience with Adobe applications.

Knowledge of web content management systems, including SEO and web traffic metrics.

Experience utilizing a corporate editorial calendar.

Understanding of creating accessible content.

Familiarity with public relations principles and strategies.

Experience or interest in public sector work, especially in government, education, or health services.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years in a related professional environment with a focus on content strategy and development.

Working Conditions:

Remote Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies by numerous factors, including role and experience level. PCG offers a competitive salary range of $68,400-$91,400 along with benefits such as medical, dental, 401k, PTO, parental leave, and more. EEO Statement:
