This is a sales and service position requiring 95% Commercial Lines and 5% Personal Lines support. As our P&C Agent, you will be the cornerstone of our customer care, responsible for directly managing our customers. Your Role will involve providing support, writing new business, managing existing relationships, offering product/service information, and resolving issues with our clients with accuracy, understanding, and efficiency.
This is a remote position, and California P&C experience is preferred. Job Duties: Expertise and strong command of commercial lines with some knowledge of Personal Lines Provide service for existing insurance agency customers Quote, sell, and bind new policies Actively focus on policy renewals and retention Service customer concerns Properly document and update all customer information within our customer service database Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns Mail and document management Other duties as requested The ideal candidate will have: Capable of working within the California time zone Valid Property and Casualty license M-F from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. PST Knowledge of coverages for contractors is a plus Be proficient in the rules and regulations related to personal lines and commercial lines insurance Have experience with COIs and the various Accord forms Strong underwriter negotiation skills Ability to handle high-volume phone and email requests Excellent servicing and relationship management skills Demonstrate excellent communication skills, speak articulately and persuasively Must be a team player and dependable Database/AMS360 experience preferred Computer skills are necessary, i.e., Word & Excel Possess strong drive, ambition, and goal orientation Benefits: Employee Health Benefits (medical, dental, vision) 401k Retirement Plan Employer-paid Group Life Insurance Paid time off Paid holidays Paid bereavement Gym membership reimbursement Employee referral bonus Up to $10,000 in annual performance incentives are available on average in addition to the posted salary and benefits.
