Compensation: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour, plus incentive opportunities. Total compensation is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Position Summary & Mission Tri Counties Bank believes in the vision of a helpful and caring community banker. As a Personal Banker you will establish and grow relationships of trust with our customers by listening attentively, learning about their financial circumstances, assisting with transactions, and introducing products and services that address their needs and goals.
Scope & Complexity Conduct an average of approximately 12 or more customer conversations daily.

Major Responsibilities
Begin with a personal welcome to everyone who calls or comes into a branch and show them they are valued.
Use every customer interaction as an opportunity to have quality conversations and individually understand customers’ financial needs and goals.
Share knowledge about Tri Counties Bank services, products, and partners to help customers save money, make more money or make their banking more convenient.
Employ appropriate solutions for your customers, follow through and honor commitments to ensure their financial goals are fulfilled.
Other Responsibilities
Maintain accurate sales records and regularly review sales results with the Branch Manager, preparing an action plan to meet or exceed objectives.
Ensure that all customer transactions, from check cashing to loan payments to counting currency and coin, are handled accurately and timely per guidelines.
Maintain current understanding of bank policies, procedures, and regulations.
Assist in training branch team members on product knowledge and skill development.
Assist other team members with non-primary duties as needed and perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Skills
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous sales and cash handling experience preferred.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to use personal computers and Windows-based programs.
Successful completion of bank product and sales training courses and appropriate certifications.
Registered as a mortgage loan originator (MLO) in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS).
Physical Requirements
May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
