Job Summary We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Lending Solutions Consultant
to join our Sales team. In this role, you will support the end-to-end sales lifecycle by delivering impactful solution demonstrations, providing subject matter expertise, and collaborating with sales representatives to drive new business, cross-sell opportunities, and client upgrades. You will play a critical role in aligning client needs with our solutions, maintaining demo environments, and staying informed on product and market developments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Proactively engage with sales teams, customers, and prospects to drive business opportunities including new sales, cross-sales, and upgrades.
Collaborate with sales representatives throughout the sales lifecycle, including exploratory meetings, demonstrations, workshops, system audits, and gap analyses.
Participate in virtual discovery sessions with new prospects and existing clients to understand business needs and align solutions.
Deliver virtual solution demonstrations tailored to both new sales opportunities and existing client engagements.
Maintain and update the demonstration environment to ensure accurate data, product configurations, and system parameters.
Develop and update presentation scripts to reflect current product functionality, value propositions, and strategic differentiators.
Stay informed on product roadmaps and upcoming releases, and effectively communicate future enhancements to clients.
Integrate knowledge of competitive strengths and weaknesses into solution demonstrations to highlight Finastra’s unique value.
Provide input into bid proposals and project documentation, and identify additional sales opportunities within the client base.
Travel: Some travel required (up to 15%).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, technology, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in sales support, pre‑sales, or a client‑facing technical role.
Strong understanding of sales processes and customer engagement strategies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
Experience with cloud‑based demo environments is a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, virtual environment.
Minimum 2+ years experience with Laser Pro product knowledge.
