The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations for a growing medical equipment distribution company, maintain accurate financial records, ensure timely month-end close, and support the CFO with financial reporting, consolidations, and integration of new acquisitions. Key Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in account reconciliations, journal entries, and the general ledger. Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring deadlines are met and financial data is accurate and complete. Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and supporting schedules for management review. Collaborate with the CFO on higher-level accounting projects, including financial consolidations and acquisition/integration support. Ensure the integrity of the general ledger through regular review and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. Oversee the accuracy of accounts payable and receivable ledgers maintained by support staff, ensuring alignment with the GL. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls. Support internal and external audit requirements by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries. Contribute to cross-functional projects and provide analytical support for strategic decision-making. Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

required;

CPA

preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience , ideally within the

healthcare, medical device, or distribution industry . Strong understanding of

U.S. GAAP , month-end close processes, and reconciliations. Experience with

multi-entity consolidations

and post-acquisition accounting preferred. Proficiency in

ERP systems

(e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks Enterprise, or similar). Advanced

Excel

skills and ability to analyze complex financial data. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, growing business and balance hands-on accounting with strategic financial support. Additional roles and function
