The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform has thousands of students looking for online CPC tutors nationally. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—all from the comfort of your home.
Responsibilities
Deliver 1-on-1 online CPC (Certified Professional Coder) tutoring to students. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Use Varsity Tutors’ Live Learning Platform to conduct sessions remotely (no commuting). Collaborate with students and adapt instruction to individual learning styles. Invoice for tutoring sessions and handle scheduling while the platform processes payments. Leverage the AI-powered Tutor Copilot for real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time and enhance teaching impact.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in CPC and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education are preferred.
Compensation & Logistics
Earn up to $40/hour with incremental pay increases for ongoing sessions with the same student. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice. Set your own schedule and tutor as much as you’d like. Remote tutoring with no commuting; the platform handles matching and payments.
