Overview
Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr. This range is provided by Sam's Club. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Position
Merchandising & stocking associate. This role helps members find products on the floor and in backrooms, may include moving inventory, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pickup orders, or stocking shelves. The job can be physically demanding, and may involve moving heavy objects and standing for extended periods. Responsibilities
Unloading trucks promptly and assisting fellow associates as needed throughout the store Sorting and stocking products on shelves and in the backroom Engaging with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude Maintaining a clean, neat, and member-ready area Ensuring club pickup orders are filled and staged according to policy Monitor and maintain product rotation, shelving presentation, and display cleanliness Assist with price tagging, signing and pricing merchandise according to company policies Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding choices, and resolving issues Follow safety procedures, including forklift spotting procedures and handling hazardous materials as required What you’ll do
Provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs; assist with self-service technology and purchasing decisions; locate merchandise; resolve member issues and concerns; promote products and services. Maintain safety and sanitation standards; conduct safety sweeps; follow company policies; report unsafe conditions to management. Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation according to company policies; set up and organize displays; remove damaged goods; ensure proper pricing and identify shrink and damages. Ensure quality and rotation of food and merchandise; display promotional and seasonal items prominently. Conform to company ethics and policies; participate in Open Door Policy and related processes. Collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners to complete tasks and address opportunities for improvement. Support club pickup by selecting and staging items according to policy. Additional compensation may include premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
