Acrisure is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in Florida. This role is responsible for aiding clients with service needs and making changes to existing accounts. The Account Manager supports the sales team in obtaining new clients and retaining existing ones, while meeting service and sales delivery standards.
Responsibilities
Partner with Producers to develop marketing strategies for new and renewal business.
Gather underwriting information directly from clients.
Advise clients on coverage changes and additions.
Educate clients on policy coverages, changes, exclusions, and insurance needs.
Build rapport with Underwriters to negotiate and secure competitive quotes.
Navigate carrier websites for quoting and policy changes.
Prepare insurance summaries, schedules, quotes, and proposals.
Bind coverage and confirm accuracy of binders.
Respond to client inquiries regarding coverage, changes, billing, and claims.
Issue Certificates of Insurance and Auto ID Cards.
Manage cancellations and ensure timely resolution.
Invoice and pursue prompt payments per agency policy.
Maintain accurate electronic and client activity files.
Provide technical support to Producers and assist with strategic goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Commercial Lines Account Manager role within Florida, specifically with Construction clientele.
Active State of Florida Property & Casualty Insurance License: 2-20.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
EPIC experience.
Ability to collaborate with diverse individuals — teammates and clients alike.
Education And Experience Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
3–5 years of relevant experience.
Valid 2-20 Florida insurance license.
Preferred:
EPIC system experience.
Familiarity with Construction clientele.
Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
