Soccer Shots Central Indiana is a fast growing intro-to-soccer program offered throughout the Central Indiana area. It serves children ages 2–10 through relationships with private childcare centers and public park programs. Our mission is to positively impact children’s lives through soccer and character development. Job Description
The WCI Program Coordinator leads, manages, and oversees all day-to-day operations for West Central Indiana, and works with Leadership Team members across departments. This role trains the WCI coaching team while maintaining high professional standards, and participates in growth and community impact efforts. The role requires passion for working with young children and soccer, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to mentor and provide constructive feedback. Responsibilities
COACH RECRUITMENT: WCI Hiring; conduct on-the-job interviews; recommend hires for final decisions. APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM/COACH TRAINING: oversee apprenticeship/training, implement curricula, manage online training and administrative procedures, mentor coaches, and coordinate training events. COACH OPERATIONS & TEAM CULTURE: coordinate weekly communications, scheduling, parent communications, equipment and marketing at locations, attendance audits, team culture initiatives, coach retention and recognition, and community events. ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: develop and expand relationships; conduct school visits; handle client communications and feedback; support sales. COACHING: lead up to 35 sessions per week; manage additional sessions for pay when permitted; supervise substitutions; install marketing materials; prep for classes. PRE-CLASS PREPARATION: ensure curriculum readiness, equipment check, attendance sheets, and center/site readiness. ON-SITE OPERATIONS: arrive early, ensure on-time class start, on-site coaching, and post-class wrap-up; support site staff and families as needed. ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS: input attendance online, maintain notes on registrations and trial activity, and deliver reports and certificates as required. OTHER: perform travel, coordinate with Administrative Director, and participate in program evaluations and reviews as needed. Qualifications
Essential Qualifications Leadership/management experience Experience working with young children (childcare, coaching, teaching, etc.) Passion for the mission of Soccer Shots Strong written and verbal communication Effective organizational and administrative skills Attention to detail Positivity Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in related field Experience implementing Traction Knowledge of HR policies and procedures Soccer playing/coaching experience Program Objectives & KPIs
Provide best-run, high-reputation program in Central Indiana Maintain excellent coaches, curriculum, and communication Net Promoter Score targets and other quality measures Key performance: timely communication, high-quality sessions, coach training and retention, school visits, and scheduling Compensation & Benefits
$30,000/year $20/week gas reimbursement Additional bonus potential at owners’ discretion Paid holidays; personal and sick days as outlined Work Environment
Full-time position requiring up to 40 hours per week, typically Monday–Friday with possible evenings or weekend mornings. Indoor/outdoor environment; physical activity including running and lifting up to 50 pounds; may require loud voice projection. Program Performance Evaluation
Coaching evaluations may be conducted each season; quarterly evaluations and yearly reviews are also performed.
