Overview

Location: Alaska Surepoint is seeking Instrumentation Technicians to join our project in Alaska. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation systems used to measure and control process variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, and level. Contractors are welcome to apply. What You’ll Do

Install, calibrate, and maintain field instruments including transmitters, gauges, analyzers, and control valves Read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, and instrumentation drawings Design and install instrument tubing systems (layout, bending, termination) Perform functional loop checks, troubleshooting, and signal verifications Support commissioning and start-up activities Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and E&I Technicians to ensure work meets safety and quality standards Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (Technical or College Degree preferred) Prior Instrumentation experience required Journeyman License or Instrumentation Certificate preferred Valid driver’s license in good standing Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail Ability to travel and work in varying environmental conditions Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physically demanding tasks safely Other Considerations
