We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team and support students with diverse learning needs. Whether working in preschool, elementary, middle, or secondary school settings, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve academic, social, and life skills success. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs. Teach core academic subjects, life skills, and social-emotional strategies using specialized instructional techniques. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and growth. Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to ensure cohesive support. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed. Utilize technology and adaptive tools to enhance learning experiences. Promote positive behavior and social interaction through evidence-based strategies. Maintain accurate records and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred). Valid CA teaching certification in Special Education. ECE, Mild-Mod, or Mod-Severe differentiation certification. Experience working with students with disabilities (emotional, physical, intellectual, or sensory). Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred). Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations. Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment (preferred). State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred. State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred. State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred. Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred. Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice. Current CPR if applicable. TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable. Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation). Must meet all federal, state and local requirements. Must be at least 18 years of age. Benefits
