Test Conductor

to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation organization. This role is located at Edwards AFB, CA. This position is responsible for maintenance of all servers, radios, communication equipment and software of the NASA Range Hawk ground control stations. Individuals will manage the operation and troubleshooting involved in all operational aspects of the Ground Control Station, including software upgrades, troubleshooting and daily maintenance of all related hardware and software. The Test Conductor will specify and maintain air vehicle system configurations and coordinate ground and flight test planning activities with test operations, instrumentation, and project engineers. Individuals will work alongside engineers to upgrade the GCSs, as required, to include installation of new or rebuilt servers including Virtual Machine servers, and configuring hardware systems, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc., in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements. They will also be responsible for maintaining strict configuration management of the Ground Control Station components that reside at flight test locations. Responsibilities

Interact with NASA responsible engineers to coordinate requirements, training, schedules, supplies, etc., needed to support upcoming events Prepare for flight test, ground test and software modifications, and interface with QA and Safety in the planning of all work Coordinate with stakeholders to schedule flight and ground test events Interface with internal and external organizations to develop test and test data requirements Coordinate with system test engineers to identify and acquire necessary test resources Schedule and assist with conducting ground and flight tests Participate in post-test data evaluation and discrepancy resolution Define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements Obtain and maintain avionics certification as required for job functions Apply professional conflict resolution techniques when interacting with team members, subcontractors, and external stakeholders Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) discipline with 2 years of experience; OR Master of Science degree in STEM with 0 years of experience Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs Must have availability for occasional short-term travel to off-site locations Must have understanding of networking administrative principles, including switches, routers, encryptors, LANs, WANs, and/or network security Must be able to perform computer system and network troubleshooting, and/or network administrator activities to include creation of network accounts, resetting passwords, data management, system patching, etc Preferred Qualifications

Familiar with interfacing with QA and Safety in the planning of all work Network + certification Security + certification Compensation and Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $81,300.00 - $121,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
