Responsibilities

Be hired as a Flex Security Officer in the Indianapolis, IN area. All shifts and days are available. The position offers a starting pay of $18.50/hr with weekly pay. Benefits include a 401(k) with employer match (up to 8%) for employees who work 20 hours a week (minimum of 500 hours per year or more) and have completed six months of service.

Perform Security Officer duties as assigned per Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP); read and become knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and act quickly and efficiently according to directives.

Flex Officer scheduling and expectations: you may be trained at various posts and facilities based on operational need; schedules vary and shifts may be posted in advance or called on short notice. You are expected to work any scheduled shift within your availability and communicate unavailability to your supervisor.

For short-notice call-ins, you are expected to work at least 80% of the shifts for which you are called; refusing more than 20% of shifts could impact employment status.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Requirements: reliable transportation; one year of experience in security, military, or law enforcement preferred; excellent customer service; ability to work holidays, weekends, and in all weather conditions; able to stand or walk for extended periods; strong report writing; ability to analyze situations, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure; ability to work independently; clear written communication.
