Location On-site in Lynchburg, Virginia
Your Day to Day as a Radiation Control Technician
Routine collection of air samples, radiological monitoring equipment calibration, radiation and contamination surveys using portable instruments.
Issue TLDs and respirators.
Perform job coverage of high contamination jobs.
Participate in emergency response.
Support customer needs to meet demanding schedules.
Required Qualifications
Familiarity with NOGL Mt Athos facility and complex access requirements and facility.
Must be able to acquire and maintain respirator qualifications.
Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
Must obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Desirable experience in performance of high contamination support.
Experience with uranium or radioactive material work desirable.

#LI-TA1 Pay: $59,000 – $101,000
The base salary range for this position in Virginia (US‑VA) at the start of employment is expected to be between $59,000 and $101,000 per year. The base salary offered may vary based on local market factors and candidate qualifications. Total compensation may also include an annual cash incentive and other benefits. If hired, the selected candidate will be employed 'at-will' unless subject to a collective bargaining agreement. The company reserves the right to modify base salary or other compensation at any time.
