Overview
Merchandise and Stocking Associate at Sam's Club. Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
What you'll do Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; assists members with purchasing decisions; locates merchandise; resolves member issues; and promotes the company's products and services.
Maintains safety of facility by conducting safety sweeps; following forklift spotting procedures; handling and disposing of hazardous materials; adhering to safety standards; and reporting unsafe situations to management.
Maintains sales floor and merchandise presentation by zoning the area; stocking and organizing merchandise; setting up displays; removing damaged goods; pricing merchandise; identifying shrink and damages; and securing fragile and high-shrink items.
Monitors product quality by ensuring rotation, dating, recalls, and sanitation standards are followed; ensuring prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise.
Complies with company policies and standards of ethics; supports open communication and business processes.
Completes work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with managers and teammates, meeting deadlines, and adapting to feedback and change.
Ensures club pickup orders are filled and staged according to policy and procedures.
Other duties include supporting a positive member experience and working as part of a team to meet common goals.
