$21.00/hr - $29.00/hr What you'll do
Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; providing guidance and support to members regarding self-service technology; assisting members with purchasing decisions; locating merchandise; resolving member issues and concerns; and promoting the company\'s products and services. Assists management with the supervision of associates in assigned area of responsibility; communicates goals and feedback; trains associates on processes and procedures; provides direction and guidance to associates on member service approaches and techniques to ensure member complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines; ensures compliance with company policies and procedures; supports the Open Door Policy; participates in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates. Receives and stocks supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors; organizes and maintains the sales floor; ensures safety of facility; handles safety procedures including forklift spotting, hazardous materials handling, and reporting unsafe situations. Maintains merchandise presentation; handles claims and returns; zones the area; stocks, arranges and organizes merchandise; sets up displays; signs and prices merchandise; identifies shrink and damages; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise. Monitors food and merchandise quality; ensures product rotation, code dating, recalls, and sanitation standards. Develops and implements processes to meet business needs; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; analyzes information and identifies improvement opportunities. Demonstrates compliance with policies and ethics; supports action plans and the Open Door Policy. Leads and participates in teams; coordinates work assignments; provides feedback and support to ensure timelines and quality. Oversees the picking and staging of club pick-up orders; ensures products are selected and staged according to policy and procedures. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. 6 months retail experience AND 6 months customer service experience. Preferred Qualifications Leading a team; Supervising experience including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing the workload of others. Location
