Job Title: Service Dispatcher Job Summary: The Service Dispatcher plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency by managing schedules, directing routes, and facilitating communication. This position requires a proactive approach in receiving and relaying information, prioritizing service requests, and monitoring the locations of drivers or technicians to ensure timely service while delivering exceptional customer support. Key Responsibilities: Handle incoming calls, emails, or electronic requests for service and respond promptly. Assign drivers, technicians, or field personnel based on schedules, priorities, and customer requirements. Relay accurate information between customers, field staff, and management. Maintain comprehensive records of calls, assignments, and completed tasks. Adapt schedules or routes swiftly in response to delays, emergencies, or changing conditions. Ensure adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and service standards. Provide timely updates to customers regarding their service status. Support administrative tasks such as data entry, report generation, and scheduling. Verify warranty statuses with vendors and manage related service or repair requests. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in dispatching, scheduling, logistics, or customer service preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities. Familiarity with dispatch software and standard office applications is essential. Experience with ServiceTitan and HVAC dispatching is highly desirable (training available for the right candidate). Ability to remain calm and make swift decisions under pressure. Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. Geographical knowledge of the service area or proficient map reading skills. A collaborative mindset suited for a fast-paced environment and strong teamwork. High typing speed and multitasking capability are required. High school diploma or equivalent (some employers may prefer additional training or an associate degree). PAY RANGE:
