Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Located in Yerington, NV, this full-semester contract provides an excellent opportunity for SLPs seeking experience in a dynamic K-12 school setting. Positions are available for Clinical Fellows and certified SLPs holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). Candidates may select caseloads across elementary, middle, and high school levels, offering flexibility to focus on preferred age groups. Key Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) credential Experience or interest in pediatric speech-language pathology within educational or healthcare settings Ability to provide teletherapy services is a plus Licensure or eligibility to work in Nevada Collaborative skills, especially for applicants relocating with partners or colleagues Location and Schedule: Positions available in Yerington and surrounding areas including Fernley and Silver Springs Full-day schedule, 35-38 hours per week Contract duration: Full academic semester starting August 2024 Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language services tailored to student needs across K-12 classrooms Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with educational regulations Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Utilize teletherapy methods as applicable to reach all students effectively Benefits: Opportunity to work with a supportive, scholastic community Flexibility in caseload and age group selection Potential for team placements ideal for couples or friends relocating together Candidates interested in making a meaningful impact within a vibrant school environment are encouraged to apply.
