PTIP East – DUI Evaluations and DUI Education Groups (AEP) / Drug Evaluations and Drug Education Groups (DEP) Duties & Responsibilities
Provide psychoeducation counseling and support to individuals and groups with substance use disorders, utilizing both professional training and personal recovery experience. Educate clients and their families about behavioral health and substance use disorders, treatment options, and coping strategies. Coordinate and manage client care with community providers and other referral agencies to ensure comprehensive and continuous treatment in collaboration with the client’s assigned clinician/therapist and clinical team. Meet all requirements of program contracts, including productivity, caseload management, reporting, and timeliness of client contact. Perform tox screens, including observed urine screens, oral swabs, and/or hair testing. Attend training sessions conducted by CHR staff or external consultants as requested or required. Actively participate as a full member of the treatment team, attending all staff meetings and team meetings. Perform other duties related to the position as needed. Qualifications
Must have knowledge of substance use disorders. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be computer literate. Education:
Associate or bachelor’s degree required. Experience:
Personal experience with recovery and a commitment to supporting others on their journey is highly valued in this role. Minimum of 2 years’ experience with an associate’s degree and (1) year experience with a bachelor’s degree working in a setting with individuals with substance use problems. Licensure/Certification/Registration:
