Role Summary The Senior Projects Manager is in charge of the overall planning, co-ordination and control of fast-track fit-out projects for Hospitality, Hotels, High End Residential, Palaces, F&B, Retail, Entertainment, Health, Education etc. from inception to completion aimed at meeting our clients requirements. The purpose of the role is to produce financially viable projects that will be completed on-time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

Pre-contract: Work towards creation and execution of business development strategy in line with the business goals of the company

Pre-contract: Research and build relationships with new clients

Pre-contract: Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends

Pre-contract: Supervising the end to end process of tendering function

Project Planning: Identify stakeholders and plan communications

Project Planning: Develop project management plan and schedule

Project Planning: Ensure activities are clearly defined to all stake holders

Project Planning: Plan procurement in line with project schedule

Project Planning: Identify risks and plan risk management and responses

Project Execution: Specifying project objectives and plans including delineation of scope, budgeting, scheduling, setting performance requirements, and selecting of project sub-contractors

Project Execution: Interface with project team to share best practice and ensure effective resource (labour, materials and equipment) utilization

Project Execution: Implementing various operations through proper coordination and control of planning, design, estimating, contracting and construction in the entire process

Project Execution: Maintaining accurate records as construction progress throughout the projects

Project Execution: Responsible for overview of the construction sites, and management of vendors and trades

Project Execution: Analyze and share regular updates on the site operations with the relevant stakeholders

Project Execution: Maintain good communication between the Clients at all times

Project Execution: Direct and manage project execution ensuring all works are properly monitored co-ordinated and controlled

Project Execution: Acquire, develop and manage the project team

Project Execution: Conduct and administer procurement in line with project schedule

Project Execution: Distribute project information to relevant stakeholders

Project Execution: Perform quality assurance and control throughout the life of the project

Project Execution: Manage all local municipality and government approvals required for the operation and handover of the project in line with the project schedule

Project Execution: Verify and control any changes in scope and costs

Project Execution: Control project invoicing and final accounting

Project Execution: Monitor and control risks

We are looking for a versatile SPM in KSA who has the following experience, skills and personal attributes:

Qualifications and Experience

At least 15 years of relevant work experience in an interior fit-out contracting company

Very strong technical, execution and commercial abilities with sound knowledge of the different trades involved in the fit-out contracting business

A proven track record as a successful leader at project management in fit-out contracting businesses

Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to work successfully in a multi-cultural environment

Academic qualification (preferably University Degree) in a technical discipline

Experience in managing a team

The ability to effectively manage single or multiple projects from award of project and through the different stages of implementation to handover

Very strong technical and commercial abilities

Very good knowledge of the KSA market preferred (i.e. the network of clients, sub-contractors and suppliers)

Successful track record of working on Hospitality, Hotels, High End Residential, Palaces, F&B, Retail, Entertainment, Health, Education etc

A very good knowledge of latest developments in the fit-out market. The candidate should be well-versed with the current trends and news influencing market and be able to suggest ideas to boost the Company industry presence and build our brand

Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully in a multinational market environment
