Overview
You’ll join as a Senior Salesforce Developer embedded in the client’s engineering organization. You will own the health and evolution of their Salesforce ecosystem—shaping standards, designing scalable solutions, and delivering integrations that power day-to-day operations. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Operations, and Clinical stakeholders to turn complex requirements into secure, maintainable capabilities. Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of the Salesforce org: user access/permissions, data model changes, flows, dashboards, and reports. Translate cross-functional requirements into high-impact features that boost efficiency and productivity. Design, build, and maintain custom solutions with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs. Architect and implement integrations with external systems via REST/SOAP, middleware, and custom interfaces. Identify and reduce technical debt; enforce performance, security, and scalability best practices. Improve developer experience: SFDX/Git workflows, CI/CD, tooling, documentation, and internal processes. Mentor junior developers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing. Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, standups, reviews, retros) and contribute to the long-term Salesforce roadmap. Track Salesforce releases and best practices; recommend platform and process improvements. Requirements
6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development across Apex, LWC, and platform APIs. Proven ability to architect scalable, maintainable solutions in complex orgs. Strong understanding of data modeling, security architecture, and declarative automation (Flows, Process Builder, etc.). Experience delivering robust integrations (REST/SOAP, middleware, custom interfaces). Proficiency with Salesforce DX and Git; CI/CD experience. Ability to lead technical planning, conduct code reviews, and uphold engineering best practices. Track record of mentoring developers and elevating team standards. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and backlog quality. Salesforce Platform Developer II (or equivalent experience); additional certs (Admin, Architect, etc.) are a plus. Experience building secure, compliant healthcare platforms and EHR integrations. System design in high-compliance environments (HIPAA, SOC 2). Startup experience (fast-paced delivery, high ownership). 6+ weeks of paid time off? (Note: retain only neutral wording; if the original is explicit, keep as is.) Self-development budget per year. Corporate events and gifts; learning events and mentorship opportunities. Speaking Clubs; PE accounting and support.
