Automotive Service Technician

Responsibilities
Perform repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
Test‑drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues
Communicate clearly with Service Advisors to explain necessary repairs and provide accurate time estimates
Execute warranty repairs following manufacturer and dealership guidelines
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Stay current with Ford certifications, tools, and technical bulletins
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ford Certification preferred, but not required
2+ years of automotive service technician experience (Ford dealership experience preferred)
Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills, including electrical and engine repair
Proficiency with factory diagnostic tools and repair software
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Positive attitude, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
