Cladding/ACM/IMP Superintendent
LOCATION: Charleston, South Carolina COMPANY OVERVIEW:
Join a forward-thinking construction company specializing in exterior building envelope systems. We're seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee high-profile cladding projects in the growing Charleston market. Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate field installation teams for ACM and IMP systems Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations Review shop drawings and coordinate with Project Managers on technical details Manage daily workforce planning and material logistics Conduct quality control inspections throughout installation process Coordinate with other trades and general contractor representatives Maintain detailed daily reports and project documentation Lead safety meetings and enforce safety protocols Monitor and maintain project schedules Mentor and develop field personnel Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in exterior cladding systems Extensive knowledge of ACM and IMP installation methods and best practices Strong understanding of building envelope systems and waterproofing OSHA 30 certification Proven track record of completing projects on schedule and within budget Excellence in reading and interpreting construction documents Strong leadership and communication skills Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites Preferred Qualifications
Experience with major commercial projects Knowledge of related trades (glazing, waterproofing, roofing) Familiarity with digital construction management tools Previous experience in the Southeast market Benefits
