What you’ll do:

Lead architecture and solution design for enterprise-scale Clinical, Biometrics, and R&D platforms, ensuring alignment with client objectives and enterprise standards.

Translate complex business, scientific, and regulatory requirements into sustainable, compliant, and interoperable technical architectures that ensure data integrity and long-term maintainability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including clinical operations, data engineering, and platform services—to design and deliver robust, cloud-native solutions.

Provide technical mentorship and architectural guidance to project teams, fostering best practices in design, implementation, and delivery excellence.

Contribute to strategic planning and technology roadmaps, driving the evolution of enterprise clinical data and analytics ecosystems.

Partner with client-facing teams to understand solution context, support requirement gathering, and guide technical analysis and design decisions.

Ensure delivery quality through adherence to architectural standards, coding best practices, and regular design/code reviews.

Participate actively in agile ceremonies, providing clear communication on progress, dependencies, and risks.

Research and evaluate emerging technologies, developing proofs-of-concept and prototypes to inform innovation and modernization efforts.

Decompose complex features into actionable tasks, lead estimation discussions, and justify technical effort and scope with stakeholders.

What you’ll bring:

7+ years of experience designing and implementing cloud-based clinical technology architectures (AWS, Databricks, Python, SQL).

Strong understanding of CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM) and healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR).

Proven track record in architecting and delivering Clinical Data Repository (CDR) and Statistical Computing Environment (SCE) solutions aligned with regulatory, security, and enterprise governance requirements.

Expertise in cloud architecture, data engineering, FAIR data principles, and designing for AI/ML enablement.

Ability to translate complex clinical and biometrics needs into scalable, compliant architectures integrating multi-modal data (EDC, imaging, omics, RWD).

Deep knowledge of clinical trial processes, pharma data lifecycle, and regulated data environments.

Strong skills in communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving, with a collaborative and strategic mindset.

Additional Skills:

Ability to quickly adapt new technology and be innovative in creating solutions

Ability to independently run POCs on new technologies and document findings to share

Knowledge of data modeling and data warehouse concepts

Travel to other global offices as needed to work with client or other internal project teams
