Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) Weapons Test & Evaluation Engineer – St. Charles, MO.

Our team is currently hiring for experience levels: Entry‑Level, Associate, and Mid‑Level.

Position Responsibilities:

Act as flight test engineer and test conductor on weapons programs (JDAM, SDB, GLSDB, MOP, B‑61, Harpoon, SLAM‑ER, etc.)

Work with Boeing, government, and other contractors to define and document test requirements and procedures that meet objectives while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

Support weapon assembly, software loading, and functional checkouts.

Manage and verify configuration of weapon hardware and software under test.

Support weapons and flight termination system checks to verify system health prior to test.

Execute the test program: builds, ground testing, environmental quantification, safe separation, carrier suitability, captive carriage, guided release, etc.

Travel to domestic and international ranges on short notice to support flight test schedules.

Coordinate with flight test and range personnel to develop, update, maintain, and control real‑time displays for decision making.

Facilitate test planning meetings, readiness reviews, pre‑travel briefings, document reviews, and post‑test reporting.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

Bachelor of Science in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

Level 2: 1+ years related experience or equivalent combination.

Level 3: 3+ years related experience or equivalent combination.

Shift This position is for 1st shift; nights, weekends, and alternate shifts may be required.

Pay & Benefits Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities. Eligible employees receive healthcare, flexible spending, retirement, life & disability insurance, and paid/unpaid leave, varying by location, hire date, and collective bargaining agreements.

Pay ranges: Level 1: $71,400 – $96,600; Level 2: $83,300 – $112,700; Level 3: $98,600 – $133,400.

Export Control Requirements This U.S. job requires a U.S. person defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Education Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.

Relocation Relocation offered based on eligibility.

Security Clearance Requires U.S. Security Clearance (Secret). Interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre‑Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start required.
