Posted Friday, October 24, 2025 at 10:00 AM TITLE: SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT - BUSINESS SERVICES EXECUTIVE STATUS: EXEMPT REPORT TO: EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT – CHIEF RETAIL OFFICER DEPARTMENT: ADMINISTRATION JOB CODE: 7508 PAY SCALE: $252,000.00 - $315,000.00 ANNUALLY GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Business Services Executive leads the strategic planning and execution of Golden 1’s initiatives for relationship-focused micro and small business markets and prepares for future expansion into the commercial sector. This position oversees the development of the Business Services member service, delivery, operations, and production platform, which includes lending, deposits, and essential service programs, with the aim of meeting and exceeding member, market, and enterprise requirements. Responsibilities include designing and implementing a business services strategy to enhance member experience, attract and retain staff, maintain credit, legal, risk, and compliance standards, drive marketing activities, and ensure oversight of expenses and risk management. The role supports organizational objectives related to business loan growth, business deposit growth, and the expansion of business memberships. PURPOSE STATEMENT:

To lead the enterprise to be a business services leader and their success will be measured by growth in the total number of business members as well as their deposit and loan relationships. TASKS, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS: Member Service and Relationship Management : Deepen, maintain, and strengthen service and relationships with business members to understand their financial needs and provide tailored deposit, loan, delivery, and service solutions. Member Account Acquisition and Retention : Identify prospective members, present Golden 1’s business services, onboard new accounts, and ensure ongoing client satisfaction to retain and deepen business relationships as well as meet and exceed our corporate objectives. Performance Reporting, Monitoring, and Adaptation : Responsible for the creation, functionality, visibility, communication, and actions needed as a result of reporting results that clearly demonstrate results, trends, challenges, and opportunities across the entire Business Services line of business. Represent Golden 1 in Community Engagement and Expansion : Lead, educate, and engage our communities on our full range of business and consumer products and services, including but not limited to loans, deposit accounts, other financial products, services, and community programs. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams, including but not limited to enterprise member experience, strategy, reporting, HR, finance, Retail, MSCC, business lending, business services operations, product management, pricing, service operations, compliance, marketing) to deliver seamless member experiences to influence and provide oversight to support feature, functionality, service delivery competitiveness, market awareness, and business expectations to drive growth and scale for high performance. Budget Achievement:

Meet or exceed production and expense budgets for business products and services through effective and efficient prospecting, networking, and relationship management. Ongoing Market Analysis : Monitor statewide, regional, and local business trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities and threats for Golden 1’s business segment. PHYSICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXERTION UTILIZED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE TASKS: Requires advanced verbal and written communication skills. Must possess manual dexterity sufficient for operating computers and standard office equipment, including financial calculators, personal computers, fax machines, and telephones. ORGANIZATIONAL CONTACTS & RELATIONSHIPS: INTERNAL:

Management, staff at all levels, Audit Department, various Committees, and Board of Directors. EXTERNAL:

Members, community, and industry peers. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related discipline required. Master’s degree or MBA preferred. EXPERIENCE

: Minimum ten (10) years of relevant business experience. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

:

Proven strong leadership ability within a matrix organization. Extensive expertise in business banking within a bank or credit union. At least five (5) years of progressive business banking management responsibility. Strong familiarity with market-based asset pricing, loan structuring, and documentation requirements for small business and commercial loan agreements. Outstanding business development, organizational, negotiation, credit, presentation, marketing, and sales leadership abilities. Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and income tax returns as well as standard banking accounting practices. Broad and deep knowledge of risk management practices. Proven ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships across all levels of management, staff, and clientele. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires prolonged sitting with occasional mobility during the workday. Vision must be correctable to normal range. Hearing must be within normal limits; hearing devices will be provided as necessary. Occasional movement within the department is required for staff interaction and task completion.
