Job Summary Provides support to the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific ( COMP ) and COMP -Northwest, Office of Academic Affairs ( OAA ) by effectively managing course information and schedules, maintaining confidential student information, and assisting with the coordination and facilitation of the curriculum. Works closely with the teaching faculty to ensure proper curriculum delivery.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Individuals must possess the knowledge, as well as the following skills and abilities or be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
Computer skills necessary to setup document formats in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and any other software programs required by this position.

Ability to interact in a friendly, cooperative, and appropriate manner with administration, faculty, staff, students and external stakeholders.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to strategize.
Ability to organize and prioritize workload in order to meet necessary deadlines.

Required Qualifications Education:
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for the position.
Experience:
2-4 years clerical office experience.
Preferred Qualifications Education:
Associate’s degree or higher.
Key Responsibilities
Classroom Support Functions:
Coordinates with Pre-Clinical faculty and staff to provide classroom support for the curriculum including room reservations, curriculum calendars, scheduling in-person and virtual sessions, maintaining webcast recordings, tracking attendance, and technical support.
Assists with the organization of course documents and materials, exam pre- and post- materials, and materials related to course activities such as small groups, labs, workshops, online modules, etc.
Serves as a proctor for exams and examination review periods.
Customer Service Functions:
Monitors and responds to faculty and student emails through Outlook, Teams, and the student ticketing system.
Coordinates with visiting instructors related to the logistics of their learning activities.
Networks with the other departments outside of the college related to curricular activities.
Assessment Functions:
Coordinates and collects attendance data, maintains spreadsheets for use by the Lead Curriculum Coordinator / Pre-Clinical Assistant Director.
Report Functions:
Creates student groupings for curricular purposes (small group, labs, etc.) and uploads to the Learning Management System ( LMS ).
Financial Functions:
Collaborates with the Pre-Clinical Manager on costs related to visiting faculty (e.g., honoraria).
Other:
Attends, assists, and participates in WesternU, college, and department events/activities as directed. Performs other related duties as assigned or as requested.
