Staff Frontend Engineer - Global Trade Comment Network Location:

New York City (Hybrid)

Compensation:

$180K - $250K

We are building the

global trade comment network , a protocol designed to solve the core problem of discovery in trading: what to buy and why. Our solution allows users to comment on their trades and see the trade comments of others, turning trading into a high-frequency social activity. We are backed by world-class investors and are seeking a highly experienced

Staff Frontend Engineer

to build and scale our mobile and web applications.

This is a high-impact role requiring deep experience in building and scaling complex mobile and web applications that power high-frequency social interactions. You will own the responsibility for ensuring a smooth UX and

sub-second rendering

across feeds of thousands of items, tackling meat-and-potatoes software engineering challenges to deliver a reliable and engaging product across devices.

Key Responsibilities & Projects:

Code Excellence:

Build clean, maintainable, and well-tested frontend code, focusing on code quality and long-term sustainability.

Collaboration:

Collaborate directly with product and design teams to define, prioritize, and rapidly ship features.

Component Design:

Design performant, responsive, and reusable UI components optimized for both mobile (iOS/Android) and web.

Performance Optimization:

Focus on profiling and optimizing rendering, state management, and network interactions to ensure speed across complex features.

Feature Ownership:

Projects you may work on include:

Developing the

Feed : a fast, infinite-scroll feed of trades and comments.

Building

Trading Metrics : charts and dashboards for rendering on-chain data.

Creating the

Trade Comments

feature: a threaded, interactive social layer for crypto trades.

Architecting

Notifications : cross-platform push and in-app notifications with deep linking.

Designing

Explore

layouts: surfacing trending tokens, traders, and strategies.

Experience:

5+ years at tech startups

with

consumer applications

that reach millions of Daily Active Users (DAUs).

Core Technologies:

Deep expertise with modern frontend technologies including

React Native, React, and TypeScript .

Performance:

Extensive experience

profiling and optimizing rendering, state management, and network interactions

in high-frequency applications.

Architecture:

Experience designing and maintaining

component libraries and design systems .

Systems:

Strong understanding of

cross-platform build systems, releases, and CI/CD .

Mindset:

Strong appetite to work on complex, high-performance products with autonomy and creative freedom.

Compensation:

Competitive pay ($180K - $250K) and generous equity

commensurate with experience and seniority.
