Summary Regional Sales Manager, Mold & Die Software – this is a fully remote role, but the candidate must live in California.

Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for our California territory. The Regional Sales Manager is a function within Hexagon’s Mold and Die organization responsible for the day-to-day management of the defined territory and overall success of our Mold and Die team. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for achieving and exceeding revenue goals and overall customer satisfaction. This includes working with Order Entry, Production, Applications Engineering, and Customer Service to ensure that we offer a best-in-class customer experience. The Regional Sales Manager maintains a high standard and provides leadership in the areas of product knowledge, demonstration capabilities, sales professionalism, and customer satisfaction. The candidate must live within the assigned territory and ideally have Mold/Die sales experience or experience selling competitive Mold/Die software.

Job Responsibilities

Meet or exceed annual revenue targets for assigned territory.

Generate sales revenues by performing software demonstrations to existing and prospective customers.

Work with OEM and Reseller Channels to maximize sales and assist in software demonstrations.

Evaluate customer needs and develop corresponding solutions across multiple aspects of the customer’s requirements.

Identify additional sales opportunities outside of traditional channels.

Work collaboratively with all available resources including Applications Engineers, Marketing, Inside Sales and others to identify, advance, and close sales.

Provide customer feedback to Development for new product innovations and product development.

Act as point of contact and provide support to customers before and after the sale.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in Engineering or equivalent experience.

Experience selling mold and die software in a manufacturing environment.

Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.

Knowledge of CNC Machining preferred.

Documented software sales experience.

Salesforce experience.

Travel requirements – up to 50%.

Ability to work independently, self-starter.

Physical Demands

Frequently required to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while using a computer or conducting virtual meetings.

Regularly required to travel to customer sites, trade shows, and events, including prolonged periods of standing or walking.

Occasionally required to lift or move materials, samples, or equipment up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities needed include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus for reviewing technical drawings and presentations.

Regular communication with customers and colleagues via phone, email, and in-person meetings.

Work Environment

This position is remote, with travel required within California and the assigned territory.

Office setup to accommodate meetings, calls, and administrative tasks when not traveling.
