is seeking a highly skilled
Project Manager
to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and coordination of architectural design for projects and will work closely with clients, consultants and team members.
Responsibilities
Manage the completion of multiple projects and assigned project teams from design development through completion of construction, including team members based in other locations
Ensure contract documents are complete, accurate, and in compliance with applicable requirements and standards
Provide technical and management supervision to assigned project team members
Establish and maintain long-term client relationships through positive client interactions and delivery of high-quality products
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Manage multiple aspects of client, team and project coordination and communication
Works with clients to identify objectives and formulate options; conceptualizes projects and establishes key work priorities for development of design, scheduling and budgeting
Manage, review and contribute to the production of construction documents
Prepare and review specifications
Resolve complex design issues by providing innovative and practical technical solutions
Interface with new and existing clients, contractors and consultants to assure quality control in the field and on documents
Work cooperatively with city officials and agencies
Ensure designs meet codes and regulations
Provide leadership, motivation and development of team members
Provide superior service, quality work and timely production within established deadlines
Participate in marketing efforts, including attending industry conferences and delivering presentations
Travel up to 20%
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field; Professional degree in architecture preferred; Licensure and NCARB certification is preferred
Minimum six years of experience; prior project management experience is preferred; multifamily experience preferred
Working knowledge of contract preparation, conflict resolution, and client relations
Technical proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office
Intermediate to advanced understanding of concrete and/or wood-frame construction
Intermediate to advanced understanding of building codes and ordinances, including resolution of code-related issues
Intermediate to advanced understanding of AIA contract language
Strong written and verbal skills
Prior experience with Newforma, or equivalent software, is desirable
LEED AP certification is desirable
