We are growing our Research & Development team and seeking a hands‑on laboratory professional to support the development and optimization of our products.
Position Summary The Research & Development Associate will support formulation projects through experimental work, analytical testing, and documentation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys laboratory work, is detail‑oriented, and thrives in a science‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with formulation, testing, and evaluation of new and existing products.
Prepare laboratory‑scale batches and record observations.
Perform routine HPLC analysis.
Perform a variety of physical and chemical tests using appropriate lab techniques and instrumentation, including: HPLC, Particle Size Analyzer, Viscometer, pH meter, analytical balances, homogenizers.
Accurately record, document, and analyze experimental data.
Interpret experimental results, identify trends, and contribute to technical reports.
Conduct research on ingredients of interest, surfactant systems, and pre‑formulation concepts.
Monitor inventory of ingredients, supplies, and consumables.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field; relevant experience may substitute for degree depending on level.
2-4+ years hands‑on laboratory experience (academic or industry).
Experience with HPLC or similar analytical instrumentation.
Strong documentation discipline and data integrity mindset.
Creative problem‑solver.
Ability to follow written procedures and work safely in a lab environment.
Clear communication skills and collaborative work style.
