Manager, EHS is responsible for Environment, Health and Safety related processes, to ensure business compliance to all regulatory and customer expectations. To drive continuous improvement within company policies to reduce risk relating to Health, Safety and Environment across Align Technology. Sets recommendations for leadership team to manage Health, Safety and Environmental topics, supports during internal / external audits and inspections. She/he works with Plant functional teams to develop the local EHS process and improvement plans in order to achieve sustainable EHS excellence by reducing injuries, illnesses and environmental impact as measured in the core KPIs. The EHS Specialist reports directly to this role. Role expectations

Providing professional environment, health and safety support to the business in line with relevant legislation, authority bodies, and company policy. Prepares reports on environmental and preventive conditions within the company. Prepares environmental protection plans and programs Drives standardization in the application of Health, Safety, and Environment processes across Align Technology to improve efficiency. Builds a culture of safety by organizing EHS campaigns. Controls emissions to the atmosphere, solid waste, and wastewater treatment. Executes preventive actions to correct and control polluting sources. Evaluates risks resulting from exposure to pollutants and those related to premises, facilities, and services. Is responsible for strategic planning regarding environment and safety. Coordinates actions in cases of emergency and first aid situations. If necessary, develops standards and/or procedures regarding safety and the environment. Carries out environmental impact studies to correct and control polluting sources. Prepares statistical reports on environmental area monitoring. Presents recommendations to their immediate supervisor aimed at improving safety, occupational hygiene, and environmental conditions within the company. Works closely with Occupational Medicine personnel to identify and mitigate risks that may lead to occupational ill health. Develops and deploys internal EHS auditing and inspection systems, and participates in audits of other Align organizations as required. Determines training needs and assists in the delivery of training programs. In conjunction with the Facility Manager, supervises proper preventive maintenance of fire and extinguisher systems, as well as safety systems. Ensures that the company's health and safety performance complies with applicable local rules and regulations. Ensures compliance with legal requirements regarding fire protection and evacuation procedures. Conducts safety, occupational hygiene, and environmental audits in various departments. What we're looking for

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND Health and Safety education required by Polish Legal Regulations. Environmental education. Fire prevention course will be an advantage REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Completed professional studies related to the area and / or equivalent experience. Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in the area of safety and environment. Experience in lead the EHS Team in manufacturing factory Knowledge of the ISO standard 13485 is a plus. LANGUAGES English (written and spoken) B2E and upper SKILLS /COMPETENCIES Complete knowledge regarding H&S, environmental and fire protection regulations Excellent communication and training skills for delivery of key EHS training Practical knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 Project Management skills. Experience of working in multicultural environment. High level interpersonal skills and leadership skills SPECIFIC CERTIFICATIONS/SPECIALTIES/COURSEWORK Studies in Occupational Health & Safety Certificate of integrated management systems: ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 will be an advantage SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Sr. EHS Specialist & EHS Specialist WORK ENVIRONMENT DEMANDS Ability to work with computer screen more than 4 hours per day.
