Job Description American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a Charge NICU position in a Level 3 or 4 neonatal intensive care unit requiring Oregon RN licensure and advanced NICU skills.

Responsibilities Work in a Level 3 or 4 NICU within a short term acute care hospital Charge nurse responsibilities in the NICU including delivery and resuscitation Patient ratio of 1:3 Day shifts, 3x12 hours from 7:00 to 19:00, with rotating weekends On-call standby required when not on the unit Floating between NICU and other units or affiliate hospitals may be required, including facilities in Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent Epic EMR is used and prior experience is required First-time travelers are welcome to apply Must be able to float between affiliated hospitals as needed Must work at least 3 out of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) Scrubs of any color are permitted Parking is free for staff Completion of pre-start and annual training modules is required Travelers refusing to float may face assignment termination Hotel and mileage reimbursement are offered for floating consecutive shifts at Seaside

Requirements Active OR RN license or ability to obtain before start Minimum of 1 year recent NICU experience in a Level 3 or 4 setting Prior experience as an NICU Charge RN and proficiency in delivery/resuscitation required Experience with Epic charting system required Must have a vehicle for commuting and floating between facilities Must provide two supervisory references from the past three years No prior permanent employment at the facility within the last 3 months Must live at least 50 miles from the facility for travel rate consideration
