Floor & Decor is hiring: Overnight Receiving Associate in San Jose

Purpose

The Receiving Associate assists in warehouse operations of a retail store, unloading, auditing, and staging products for store inventory recovery.

Responsibilities

• Unload, audit, and stage product to maintain store inventory.
• Ensure all receiving paperwork is properly completed.
• Store products properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
• Oversee rotation of inventories within the warehouse.
• Perform other related duties as directed by management.
• Demonstrate compliance with safe lifting practices and standard operating procedures.
• Complete required department and equipment training (forklift certification required).
• Act consistently with company core values.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience driving a forklift preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast?paced environment and meet established deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Pay Range

$18.40 $26.20 per hour

Working Conditions

Frequent exposure to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles; moderate to noisy noise level.

Physical/Sensory Requirements

Ability to exert 3060 pounds of force occasionally, and 2030 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly; frequent use of hands and fingers; ability to stand, walk, reach, climb or balance; optional stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Store Hours

Monday Friday: 7:00?AM 8:00?PM
Saturday: 8:00?AM 7:00?PM
Sunday: 10:00?AM 6:00?PM
