Akkodis is hiring: Manufacturing Supervisor in Fort Lauderdale

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Assembly Team Lead to support and coordinate daily operations of our Assembly Line during the first shift. Reporting to the Area Supervisor, you will lead a team of associates, ensure adherence to quality standards, and maintain efficiency across processes. Your expertise will play a key role in training new team members and maintaining operational excellence through lean manufacturing principles.

•Collaborate with the Area Supervisor to manage and prioritize daily assembly line activities.

•Be proficient in all departmental processes; act as a trainer and mentor for new hires and cross-training initiatives.

•Implement and promote BPS (Business Process Standards) principles for continuous improvement and process optimization.

•Ensure timely delivery of components and finished units to meet production schedules.

•Read and interpret work instructions, product drawings, and special handling sheets (SHS).

•Use manual/power tools and measuring devices to assemble appliances and perform functional tests.

•Inspect finished products for quality, identify defects, and manage non-conforming materials appropriately.

•Rework units as needed to meet quality standards.

Rate Range: $24/hour to $26/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
