Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel 3051719 REQUIRED SKILLS/ EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 year required. Traveler Experience: Unit WILL ACCEPTS 1st time traveler. Skills: IV start, Vents, Telemetry and cpap/bipap, Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias. REQUIRED CERTIFICATION: ACLS, BLS PREFERRED CERTS: NIHSS JOB DETAILS: Target Ratios: 1:4-5 (Mixed acuity unit with PCU and MS/Tele patients) In extreme situations the unit will go to a 1:6 ratio. *36hrs can be offered. Unit will accept 13 weeks. 12 HOUR NIGHTS RTO 7 DAYS MAX for Aya Auto Offer Float Requirement: required to float to like units. Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts in 6 weeks but staffing needs may require more. Patient Population: COPD, PNA, Resp distress, Covid-19, FLU, PE’s.
