Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiation Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/08/2025 Duration: 11 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel ProMedica Hickman Cancer Center – Sylvania, OH Location: 5300 Harroun Rd 010, Sylvania, OH 43560 (Located on the campus of ProMedica Flower Hospital) Position Details Title: Radiation Therapist Start Date: ASAP Assignment Length: 13 Weeks (typical) Shift: 5x8 Hour Days (Monday–Friday) ️ Note: During the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s, schedule will be Sunday–Wednesday Visits per Day: ~8 Treatment Rooms: 1 Patient Age Group: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics Requirements Experience: Minimum 3 years Certifications Required: BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) ARRT (Therapeutic Radiologic Technologist) Ohio State License First-Time Travelers: Accepted Locals: Not accepted (must live 50 miles from the facility) Department Details Treatment Modalities & Cases: SRS (Stereotactic Radiosurgery) SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy) IGRT (Image-Guided Radiation Therapy) IMRT (Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy) Electron and Conventional Treatments Common Diagnoses: Pancreatic, Testicular, Kidney, and Prostate Cancer (including Seeds/Fiducials) Leukemia, Hodgkin’s & Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Graves’ Disease, Keloids, Gynecomastia, Benign Brain Tumors Technical Experience Work Setting: Adult Outpatient General Skills: CBCT/kV/mV imaging (required) Wedges, Emergency Cases Preferred: ARIA, EPIC, Varian treatment machines Pre-Treatment: Preferred: CT Simulation, Tumor Localization, Custom Molds/Shields Treatment Planning System: Eclipse (Varian) Specialty Techniques: Electron Field Respiratory Gating/Breath Hold (Left Breast) SRS and Prophylactic Treatments Linear Accelerators: Varian TrueBeam Varian TrueBeam Edge Varian Trilogy Documentation Systems: ARIA and EPIC DC Additional Info Scrub Color: Dark Gray About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
