Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in treating post-traumatic injuries, including whiplash, spinal, and soft tissue conditions resulting from car accidents. You’ll work closely with other providers to design and implement customized treatment plans that help patients restore function, mobility, and quality of life. Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for patients with MVA-related injuries. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician/chiropractor referrals and clinical assessments. Use a variety of therapeutic modalities (manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular reeducation, etc.) to promote recovery. Document patient progress and update treatment plans in compliance with Florida Board of Physical Therapy standards and clinic protocols. Collaborate closely with chiropractors and medical providers to ensure coordinated care. Educate patients on home exercise programs, posture, and injury prevention strategies.
Qualifications
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or master’s in physical therapy (MPT) from an accredited program. Active Florida Physical Therapy License in good standing. Experience with motor vehicle accident, orthopedic, or neurological rehabilitation preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills in a multi-disciplinary environment.
