Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment such as tanks, pumps, agitators, and pneumatic conveyors. You will perform major repairs, including replacing locked-out pumps and ensuring the continual operation of pneumatic conveyors by unclogging lines and changing filters. Additionally, you will conduct electrical troubleshooting with single and three-phase motors ranging from 120-480V, re-wire motors, and perform preventative maintenance tasks such as changing out motors, greasing bearings, and replacing belts.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair tanks, pumps, agitators, and pneumatic conveyors.
Replace locked-out pumps and repair them at a later time.
Ensure pneumatic conveyors are continually running by unclogging lines and changing filters.
Troubleshoot electrically with single and three-phase motors (120-480V).
Re-wire motors and conduct preventative maintenance.
Spend approximately 30% of your day performing preventative maintenance tasks.
Essential Skills
A minimum of 3 years experience in mechanical maintenance, specifically with pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and prints.
Previous experience performing preventative maintenance tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with maintenance mechanics and industrial maintenance.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hydraulics and pneumatics, pumps, conveyors.
Skill in re-wiring motors and troubleshooting 3-phase 480v systems.

Work Environment
Work in a fiberglass molding facility where the environment has a paint-like smell. The position requires wearing jeans, steel-toe boots, and a long-sleeve shirt. The role is on the 3rd shift from 10 PM to 6 AM, and currently, technicians work 5 days a week with potential for overtime, totaling 55-65 hours per week. The maintenance department consists of a supervisor and one technician on the first shift.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
