Entry Level Recruiter — Education & School Staffing | TES Staffing

Location: Rochester, NY MUST BE LOCAL TO ROCHESTER

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM

Pay: Base Salary + Commission + Annual Bonus (commensurate with experience)

You’ll learn every part of the recruiting process from finding the right candidates to guiding them through onboarding,  all while helping local K–12 districts build stronger teams for their students.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a desk-based job with lots of people interaction; you’ll spend most of your day on the phone and computer talking with teachers, paraprofessionals, and school leaders. It’s fast-paced, rewarding, and never the same day twice.

You’ll:

• Recruit and interview candidates for K–12 positions, with a focus on special education roles
• Conduct phone screens and virtual/in-person interviews 
• Coordinate staff schedules, job placements, and follow-up communication
• Manage onboarding paperwork and compliance (I-9s, W-4s, etc.)
• Enter and maintain data in internal systems with accuracy and attention to detail
• Support the recruiting team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Excellent communication skills; confident, friendly, and professional on the phone
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities
• Passion for education and helping others succeed
• Self-starter with a willingness to learn and take direction
• Comfortable working with diverse individuals and fast-moving situations
